Replacing the windshield wipers on your car should be on the top of your list of seasonal maintenance. Its quick and easy and should be done before the rainy season is upon us. Sedans may be on the way out as the preferred body style but they are easier to work on!

Changing the wiper blades on a Hyundai Elantra is quick and easy, and we take you through the step-by-step process of replacing them.

You will need:

New wiper blades
Soft cloth

Let's get started!

1. Lift the wiper arm slightly and locate the retaining clip.

2. Depending on year model you will have to depress or lift the retaining clip.

3. Slide the old blade out of the arm

4. Install the new blade by gently pushing it back into the U-shaped holder on the arm

5. Ensure that the new blade is secured properly and then lock the clip back into place.

6. Test to ensure smooth operation
