Here are 3 safety features that enhance the driving experience of your BMW 3 Series. 

1. BMW ConnectedDrive Driver Assistance systems

BMW owners can order the Driving Assistant Professional package for their new BMW that features a host of services designed to keep its driver safe by warning them of any upcoming dangers.

The package features Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Steering and Lane Control Assistant, Lane Keeping Assistant with active side collision protection, Priority Warning and Wrong-way warning systems and Cross-Traffic Alert. These are all camera-based systems that monitor the road and responds accordingly.

2. BMW Head-Up Display

The Head-Up Screen/Display projects all necessary information directly into the driver's field of vision. This allows the driver to keep his focus fully on the road. The display includes current speed, speed limit info and depending on equipment may also include navigation tips, telephone and entertainment lists, as well as warnings from the driver assist systems. 

Information is projected onto the windscreen and displayed in full-colour high resolution. Despite being transparent, the display is clearly readable in direct sunlight and the projected information will also appear as though it is 2.3 m ahead of the car. The convenient optimal positioning of the information allows the driver to read it quickly and with minimal distraction.

3. Advanced Car Eye

The Advanced Car Eye system comprises of a full-HD front camera and a rear windscreen camera. These cameras record detailed video footage from within the vehicle, of anything happening around the vehicle such as critical driving, parking or break-in situations. The camera even records at night. 

The pack for the Advanced Car Eye includes a front camera, a rear-window camera, GPS module, adhesive patch + cable set for fixed installation, and a 32GB micro SD card with a USB adapter.
