The Honda Amaze is a nice value proposition if you're looking for a small sedan in the R200 000 price range. One very nice thing to note is the colours on offer. We had a sit down as a team and voted which colour in our opinion looked best.

Remember, colours are a subjective topic, but you can argue that some vehicles look their best in certain colours. Not only that, you'd need to consider if the colour you're picking would be easy or hard to live with. For example, darker-coloured cars tend to show dirt easier and some colours may be harder to mix paint for if you need a repair or a touch-up.
That being said, here are our choices.
Lunar Silver Metallic
A nice standard light silver metallic. It does show off the silhouette of the Amaze rather well but does hide some accents.
Modern Steel Metallic
A dark grey metallic colour. This does accentuate the lines of the vehicle and better shows off the updated front grille and bumper while also showing off the wheels more.
White Orchid Pearlescent
A pearlescent white which shows off the angular design better but at the same time is more understated.
Radiant Red Metallic
As the name states, a radiant shade of red. It shows off the Amaze's lines well and compliments the chrome in the grille as well as the silver on the wheels.
Our Verdict
We felt the White Orchid and Radiant Red looked the best on the Amaze as they stood out as well as complimented the design of the vehicle. It's worth mentioning that if you're concerned about resale value, white and silver tend to fair better. Red isn't exactly popular and can fall into the darker colour category which can be more expensive to insure due to the darker colours not being as visible on the road and thus being higher risk.
That being said, ultimately, choose what suits you. Your car is an extension of your personality after all.
