What is covered under Volkswagen Arteon manufacturer car warranty?

The time of the executive sedan my be fading but that hasn't stopped VW from giving us stellar vehicles such as the Arteon. We take a look at what VW's manufacturer warranty covers on this impeccable luxury sedan.

Buying a Car

The Volkswagen Arteon carries their 3 year / 120 000 manufacturer warranty and covers the following:

  • Protects your vehicle against the failure of most mechanical and electrical components due to manufacturing defects.
  • Paintwork on your Volkswagen is covered against manufacturing defects for the warranty period.
  • The internal body sections and panels of your Volkswagen are covered against rusting through from the inside for a period of 12 years.

 

The warranty does NOT cover the following consumable items:

  • Brake pads
  • Clutches, release bearings and pressure plates
  • Windshield wipers
  • Fluid refills
  • Certain drive train components
  • Shock absorbers
  • Tyres
  • Key fob batteries
  • Service items
