We take a look at the warranty that comes with a Nissan pre-owned NP200.

Nissan Intelligent Choice for Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles

Behind every Nissan Intelligent Choice certified pre-owned car, is the performance, innovation and reliability of Nissan. It goes through a rigorous certification process and ensures a minimum Nissan warranty. Additionally, Nissan Intelligent Choice customers benefit from Lifestyle Rewards like free parking, fuel rewards and a free rental car.

Nissan Intelligent Choice cars are exclusively available from Nissan Intelligent Choice dealers.

Are Nissan NP200 bakkies certified as a Nissan Intelligent Choice car?

In order to be considered for certification, the Nissan NP200 would usually be:

  • under 4 years old and
  • have less than 100 000 kms on the odometer

Nissan then puts the NP200 through two comprehensive checks: first a vehicle integrity check, then a thorough 160-Point Check Inspection of the bakkie itself. This is to ensure that only the very best vehicles receive the Nissan Intelligent Choice seal of approval – so you can enjoy the same peace of mind as when you buy new.

Minimum 2 Years and 50 000 kms Warranty

Every Nissan Intelligent Choice used vehicle comes with the manufacturer-approved warranty of a minimum of 24 months/50 000km (whichever comes first). You can also opt to upgrade to a pre-owned warranty, as long as your car is serviced in accordance with manufacturer requirements. Please contact your Nissan dealer for more information.

Remaining Service Plan

All Nissan Intelligent Choice vehicles are sold with the balance of the factory service plan, if applicable.

Nissan 24-Hour Roadside Assistance

All Nissan Intelligent Choice vehicles come with Roadside Assist aligned to the warranty of your vehicle, so whether you’ve locked your keys in your car, got a flat tyre, a flat battery, run out of fuel or simply broken down, the Nissan 24-hour Roadside Assist team will get you safely back on the road in no time. Just call 0800 NISSAN (64 77 26) whenever you need them.

What is covered under the Nissan Warranty?

The warranty period begins on the date the Nissan vehicle is delivered to the first retail buyer or put into use, whichever is earlier.
