What is covered under Jetour Dashing manufacturer car warranty?

Jetour is the new kid on the block and is making waves locally with its first two models, the X70 and Dashing. But what is inclusive and exclusive to the brand's so-called industry-leading warranty?

Dashing Warranty

The latest Chinese brand to enter the South African market is Jetour. They launched in SA in early October with two models, the X70 and the Dashing. These mid-size SUVs have high levels of tech and features that appeal to a large swathe of consumers. Then there is the warranty, which is hard to ignore.

The Jetour Dashing is sold with the following warranty and service plan:

Engine warranty: 10 years or 1 million kilometres, whichever comes first (first owner only)

Vehicle warranty: 5 years or 150 000 kilometres, whichever comes first

Service plan: 5 years or 60 000 kilometres

The warranty is valid from the date of sale and is subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions. It is only valid if the customer performs regular maintenance at authorised centres using original spare parts. This is all good and well, but what does this warranty not cover?
