All Star Warranty

Changan is a relatively unknown brand here in South Africa. Falling under the operational umbrella of JMC (Jiangling Motor Corp) here in SA, the Changan is a low-cost Chinese work horse that sells in comparatively low numbers locally. In a country were every cent counts though, the Changan may just be the answer to a new small business owner's vehicle needs.

Let's take a look at what JMC offers as a warranty on the Changan

Terms and Conditions

The Changan Star 3 is sold with a 3-year / 100 000 km warranty, however, services and maintenance remain at cost of the owner.

Jiangling Motors South Africa (Pty) Ltd. warrants new Changan vehicles against defects, defective materials and workmanship during operational use and service, and accepts the costs of such repairs if required.

Service your vehicle at the prescribed intervals.

Your Changan vehicle must be serviced at an approved Changan dealer, utilising approved original parts only.

You must keep your service book updated at all times, and within your vehicle at all times.

Only JMC approved oils and fluids to be used in engines, gearboxes, final drives, steering systems, cooling systems and brake systems.

What is NOT covered:

Maintenance and inspection of all wear and tear items such as brakes, clutches, filters, drive belts, cam belts and lubricants.

We strongly recommend checking your owners manual or with your local Changan dealer for further information if you are still unsure.
