White cars also sell more easily than cars with odd colours, such as green or purple. Insurance costs on white care are also lower because solid white cars are cheaper to repair, and white is a highly visible colour, so they're less accident-prone, statistically. Black (or darkly-coloured cars) are more expensive to insure than most, but if you want to be sure of the guaranteed future value of a car, white is usually your safest bet. Unless it's a Ferrari...
