We're sad that no diesel derivative is available, so why not opt for a previous-generation model here?
Jaecoo J7

The Jaecoo J7 (also a sub-brand of Chery, just like Omoda) arrived with Land Rover design aesthetics featuring a bold, geometric grille and sophisticated light clusters. Its sleek profile and premium details give it an upmarket appearance that belies its competitive price point, complemented by a potent 1.6-litre turbocharged powerplant. (A new plug-in hybrid derivative is also available, but it will cost you R689,900.)
