1. Crosswind Assist
There's no mistaking the V-Class for anything other than a slab-sided MPV. These designs are inherently flawed regarding stability, particularly when driving in a crosswind. Mercedes-Benz's Crosswind Assist program will help counter the effects of a strong crosswind and will help keep the V-Class tracking straight and true no matter the conditions.
2. Attention Assist
Sooner or later, you will want to take the V-Class on a long drive. That may be why you're considering a V-Class - for its long-distance cruising abilities. Avoiding fatigue will be high on your priority list and the V-Class offers Attention Assist. It will detect if movements are erratic and typical of drowsiness behind the wheel and will alert the driver, visually and audibly, that they should take a break and refresh.
3. Active Brake Assist
Active Brake Assist can identify a potential collision with slow-moving or stationary traffic and will alert the driver visually and audibly to such a situation. Should the driver react, the V-Class will adjust the braking strength to avoid contact best and should the driver not react, it will automatically apply the brakes for them.
4. Highbeam Assist Plus

5. Airbags
There are no fewer than six airbags in the Mercedes-Benz V-Class. The array includes airbags for the driver and front passenger, a thorax airbag for both driver and front passenger,, and two curtain airbags. On the Expression models, the curtain airbags extend from the A-pillar to the B-pillar, whereas in the Exclusive models, they extend from the A-pillar all the way to the D-pillar.
