Ingenium technology underpins one of the diesel engines in the XF range. 3. Dramatic Start-Up Sequence
When you open the door to the XF's cabin, the Start button entices you inside. Pulsing with a heartbeat, it creates an emotional connection between driver and machine. Its 72 per minute double beat is the same as a jaguar cat at rest. When you push the Start button, the car awakens and its mood lighting illuminates. With perfect choreography, air vents rotate open, the JaguarDrive Selector rises smoothly, and the engine growls – all inspiring you to anticipate the drive ahead.

4. Contemporary Craftsmanship
The XF's interior offers outstanding comfort, a sense of wellbeing and a wealth of choice. 5. Aerodynamic Design
The XF's sweeping exterior design is naturally aerodynamic. Its advanced form enhances handling, dynamics and refinement. Airflow is carefully managed through and around the car. Intakes on either side of the front grille draw air in, then channel it out from the wheel arches to reduce turbulence. As air flows along the car, pressure differences that can cause drag are minimized by the flush, aerodynamically optimized sides.
At the rear, the XF's tail lights feature a distinctive, F-TYPE inspired roundel and intersecting horizontal detail. The LED brake lights are not only brighter than halogen bulbs, but they also use less energy — contributing to the XF's overall drive for greater efficiency. LEDs also illuminate faster, so following drivers can react more quickly to XF's braking. Within the taillights is a pinstripe graphic, just one of the XF's many exquisite finishing touches.
