Since 1998, Rolls Royce has been owned by BMW. They acquired the rights to the name and created the Rolls Royce subsidiary, with their first Rolls Royce offerings making light of day in 2003. The Rolls Royce Ghost is based on a heavily modified BMW 7 Series chassis and even uses a BMW-sourced engine. The N74B66 engine is a twin-turbo 6.6-litre V12 that produces 419 kW and 780 Nm torque. This power is transferred through an 8-speed ZF gearbox. This makes it good for an astonishing 4.7-second 0 - 100 km/h time.
3. The 2-door version isn't called a Ghost.
There's only one body style for the Ghost and that's a 4-door sedan. If you're looking for something a little sportier with fewer doors, you'd be looking at the Rolls Royce Wraith - a 2-door coupe that is based on the Ghost chassis. It uses a similar N74B66 engine but is tweaked to produce 465 kW and 800 Nm.
