The Jaguar XJ range has, for the longest time been the flagship model for the brand, throughout the various owners of the firm. That includes British Leyland, Ford and more recently, Tata Motors under the Jaguar Land Rover sub-division. Often regarded as the quintessential Jaguar, the XJ has always offered the latest technology, finest accoutrements and best build-quality that the firm has to offer. The model celebrated its 50-year anniversary in 2018.

The XJ model has been a staple of the Jaguar fold since 1968 and while these early models are highly sought after, tracking one down will require scouring though numerous classic car sites. Occasionally one will present itself on AutoTrader but our site is best used for a newer model. Nevertheless, we've included links below for the respective model years, broken down into their core series designations.
