Replacing the old battery is actually very straightforward and can be done in just a few minutes with minimal tools, let us show you how it's done.
You will need:
- Replacement battery of correct amperage and frame size
- 10mm wrench
- 12mm wrench
Let's get it done:
1. Open the boot and lift the floor mat
2. Locate the negative terminal and use the 10mm wrench to undo and remove it
3. Use the 10mm to undo and remove the positive terminal
4. Use the 12mm to remove the battery hold-down clamp
5. Exchange the battery and re-assemble everything in reverse
NB - Removing the battery will erase all the settings on the onboard computer and infotainment. To avoid this use a memory saver before starting
