If you're concerned about car safety, especially where European cars are concerned, there's only one place to go: EuroNCAP.

EuroNCAP is seen as one of the highest-ranking automotive safety authorities in the world, and if a car gets a high score here, you can be sure that it's accurate.

The Renault Clio's last EuroNCAP test was conducted in 2019, and here are the results: A full five stars in the Supermini segment.

Adults and Child Occupants scored 96% and 89% respectively, which is more than enough to set prospective buyers' minds at rest.
