Interval distance
Omoda offers a 5-year / 70 000km service plan and requires service to be conducted every 15 000km or once a year, whichever comes first. Omoda also offers a very comprehensive warranty of 5 years/ 150 000km on the car and 1 000 000 on the engine for the first owner. This speaks volumes about their confidence in the engineering that has gone into these engines and should surely give the everyday motorists in SA some peace of mind when it comes to the Chinese brand.

Service parts are covered by the service plan and are readily available through the dealership network. Replacement parts are stocked to a certain degree with other, less common items requiring importing from China.
As such, it's not possible to accurately gauge the costs to repair as these vehicles are still rather new. A better idea of the replacement cost for parts will only be available in the months and years to come as further studies are done into common faults and failures.
