There are a few manufacturers that have consistently featured towards the top of the passenger vehicle sales figures locally. However, new names are starting to climb the list. One of those names is Chery. In a recent NAAMSA report for new vehicle sales in the first quarter of 2023, we found that Chery has managed to find homes for 2 730 units of the Tiggo 4 Pro model.
In fact, the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro was the 6th best-selling passenger vehicle in South Africa in the first quarter of 2023, beating other popular crossover models such as the Haval Jolion and the Volkswagen T-Cross.
Verdict
Based on the figures provided by NAAMSA, it is safe to say that the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro is indeed a popular model locally. But it is not surprising given the practicality and standard specification of the model range.
