Mahindra says the KUV100 NXT is one of their most popular model ranges due to the combination of its low fuel consumption, great safety features and its SUV styling. Now, they are expanding the #DARE range with the KUV100 K6+ #DARE, following the success of the K2+ #DARE which is put together at Mahindra’s Special Fitment Centre in Gauteng.
Style
The car is aimed at young and new drivers and the #DARE is equipped with additional style elements that build on the unique KUV100 compact crossover design. The first design addition is a set of #DARE decals on the rear side doors and tailgate. These all-black decals, in combination with the dual-tone colour combination, ensure that the #DARE easily catches the eye. In addition, you’re getting a set of 14” black alloy wheels that round off the styling upgrade.
In the interior, the #DARE receives a special Pioneer audio system, which converts the owner’s smartphone into an infotainment control centre. From here, the owner can access their phone’s features and music, while also using it to control the audio system.

Safety
New drivers who have vehicle safety at the top of their mind when searching for a car should know that just like the other models in the range, the KUV100 K6+ #DARE also features ABS brakes with emergency brake assistance and two airbags. Mahindra claims the KUV100 NXT is one of the safest vehicles in its class and it boasts a four-star crash test rating from India’s authoritative BNCAP Safety Assessment Programme. According to the AA, the amount of safety features gives it a "moderately safe" rating, but it hasn't been crash-tested yet by Global NCAP.
Interior
Inside in the car, Mahindra has added branded carpets to the list of standard equipment, which already includes air conditioning, electric windows, speed-sensing door locks and a stunning 7” full-colour entertainment system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. As a new driver who isn’t looking to break the bank on a car, this is a good offering on a new car in this price range.
Fuel Consumption
You’re probably also looking for something that’s light on fuel and this car would be ticking that box too. The KUV100 NXT has been making news in recent months after it scored the highest rating in the A1 class in the WesBank Fuel Economy Tour. The KUV diesel averaged less than 5.3 litres/100 km, beating all other contenders and helping Mahindra to rank in the top 3 of the most fuel-efficient brands in South Africa.

Maintenance Costs
According to the Kinsey Report, the KUV100 NXT was the most-affordable compact crossover to repair and maintain. Which is what also helped Mahindra secure its first large fleet purchase, and the KUV has now become a regular sight at vehicle rental fleets.

Marked at R195 999, Mahindra SA is offering the KUV100 NXT K6+ #DARE at less than R2 600 a month, with a year’s insurance included which is great for a new driver and it’s affordable.
