Easy shift

In the not-to-distant past, buying an entry-level city car meant that you weren't going to get a whole lot for your money. These cars were supplied with minimal fitment and were usually very small engine capacities and manual transmissions.

In the last few years, entry-level city cars have advanced considerably now featuring everything from auto climate control, cruise control and touchscreen infotainment systems to steering wheel controls and higher-tier safety offerings.

What an Amaze-ing offer!

The entry-level Honda Amaze is one of these vehicles and offers a great deal of standard fitment for the purchase price. One of the choices Honda has put on the table is whether you want yours with a 5-speed manual or an automatic CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission). To put it simply, Honda doesn't offer an automatic transmission option but rather a simpler CVT-style box.

Verdict

If a well-built city car with heaps of standard spec is a must-have then look no further than the Honda's Amaze with its CVT transmission.
