Euro-chic service cost
If there is one thing that Alfa does very well is design good-looking cars. Almost every car that has flowed from their design studio has been a work of art and the brand has been lauded for the groundbreaking and stunning designs. On the flip side of that coin, Alfa Romeos are also very well known for being notoriously unreliable and expensive to repair, with the bulk of driver grievances coming from the late 80's and early 90's spanning into the early 2000's models.

Cost of Ownership
The Alfa Romeo Tonale is sold with a 5-year/100 000 kilometre warranty and service plan that will cover service items and labour but won't cover wear items like brakes and tyres. This means that for the first few years owners won't have to worry too much about service costs but post the 100 000km distance the full costs of parts will begin to take effect.
With the Tonale being very new there is scant information available on the smaller Alfa model but if one were to extrapolate on the parts basket and service costs of its larger Stelvio brother, once the service plan expires, the Tonale will most likely have medium to high service costs that are on par with European SUVs.
