Two variants of the X2 are available: the sDrive18i and the M35i. If you love BMW's M Sport accoutrements, you'll definitely appreciate the X2, from the aesthetics to the driving dynamics. The engines on offer are pretty perky, too, but how often must you service them?

How often must you service your BMW X2?

BMW states that you must service your X2 every 20 000km or annually, whichever comes first. This is applicable for both the sDrive18i with the 1.5-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine and the M35i with the 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine. BMW does offer an optional Motorplan contract with a maximum time period of up to 7 years /200 000km but you can select with time period and mileage which best suits you. Sold on a BMW X2?
