How often should a BAIC Beijing X55 be serviced?

All cars need regular servicing in order to keep them in good running condition. This requires that the lubricants, fluids and filter be changed on a regular basis to ensure that the mechanical components do not suffer premature wear or failure.

 

BAIC Beijing X55 service intervals

The BAIC Beijing X55 is sold with a 5-year/150 000 km warranty and a service plan is an optional extra in South Africa. This service plan covers you for 5-years/60 000 km and will cost an additional R16 000.

Whether you choose to go for the manufacturer service plan or elect to take the vehicle to an RMI-accredited service centre, in accordance with the Right to Repair act, you will still need to have the vehicle serviced within the manufacturer-stipulated timeframe in order to retain your warranty.

The BAIC Beijing X55 has service intervals of every 5 000 km or every 6-months, whichever comes first.
