The latest iteration of the Audi A1made its first appearance locally in 2019. There are a total of seven derivatives on offer, three of which fall within the 30 power grade, three in the 35 grade and the flagship rating 40 within Audi's latest naming conventions. Audi A1 models featuring the 30TFSI moniker is powered by a 1.0-litre, turbocharged, 3-cylinder, petrol motor sending 85 kW and 200 Nm of torque to the wheels via a 7-speed automated dual-clutch transmission.
The 35TFSI models share the same transmission system, however, comes fitted with a 1.5-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder petrol motor producing 110 kW and 250 Nm of torque. The flagship offering, 40TFSI, is serviced by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder petrol engine coupled to a 6-speed automated dual-clutch transmission. The combination results in 147 kW and 320 Nm of torque but the real question is, what will this cost you per month.
