As Volvo continues to move toward an all-electric future, its range of luxury SUVs is following the same trajectory. The C40 Recharge is an offshoot of the popular XC40 that ditches the squared-off rear profile and opts for a sloping roofline.

Boasting exterior dimensions of 4.44m of length, 2.3m of width and a height of 1.59m, the C40 Recharge may appear to have some serious occupant space available, but you may be disappointed.

Much like the XC40, the C40 has seating for 5 adults. For those who are shorter in stature, this is not a problem, but for those slightly longer in the leg, the sloping roofline may compromise comfort levels as headroom becomes prime real estate.
