The Hyundai Venue is one of the more recent introductions into the compact crossover SUV market and plays around the R400 000 mark, an area of the market that will see you spoiled for choice with vehicles such as the Haval Jolion, Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, Toyota Urban Cruiser and Renault Duster all vying for your attention. The Hyundai Venue is an agreeable package but how well will it work for a family unit?

 

How many seats are in a Hyundai Venue?

In simple terms, the Hyundai Venue has seating for 5 (five) with two up front and a second row catering for three at the rear. The venue will give you 1040 mm legroom up front while rear seat passengers are given 890 mm of legroom. Shoulder room is listed at 1370 mm up front and 1365 at the rear, although with three seated at the rear, the confines will be considerably smaller. Headroom comes in at 1005 mm n front while rear seat passengers have to make do with 985 mm.

 

Cargo space

The Venue offers a generous 350-litres of cargo space with a boot that measures in at 720 x 1072 x 600 mm (L x W x H). The rear seats offer a 60/40 split-folding option, allowing you to fit larger items in the boot when needed.
