Ford’s SYNC®2 Infotainment Update

Details of the SYNC®2 infotainment system that was fitted in Ford models since 2015.

A new, second-generation version of Ford’s Sync connectivity system was released in 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show as SYNC®2. The in-car connectivity system is more intuitive and offers hands-free, voice-activated SYNC®  features on an intelligently organised screen featuring four quadrants.

The SYNC® system is operated through the high-resolution 8-inch colour touchscreen.

Voice Control

The advanced voice control can be used for easy access to audio, navigation, climate control and mobile phones.

Navigation

The SYNC® 2’s navigation system was launched with a split-screen display for the first time. More detailed information on intersections, spoken street names, 3D highway junction and landmark views were also available in some markets that included Europe.

Hands-free Music and Entertainment

Music can be played from your USB, or MP3 player or streamed via Bluetooth®4Audio.
