Ford Puma accessories you didn't know you needed

Can you select a few options when you buy the Ford Puma, and what are they?

Buying a Car1 min read

The Ford Puma replaces the EcoSport but is geared towards a buyer with a slightly bigger budget, and Ford offers prospective owners a few extras that can be specified when ordering one.

We headed on over to the Ford Puma microsite and selected the entry-level Titanium model with retail price of R570 400. It is very well-specified, but you have to pay for another basic "extra":

1. Colour options

You have to pay for your choice of colour and not even Frozen White is free. Whatever you choose, you'll have to part with R1040. This pertains to both the entry-level Titanium and top-spec ST-Line Vignale models.

Whatever colour you choose, you have to pay for.

2. Driver Assistance Pack

You can supplement your Puma's already-extensive safety kit with some fancy semi-autonomous features, which form the Driver Assistance Pack. It consists of the following:

Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (with Traffic Jam on A/T), Traffic Sign Recognition, Driver Impairment Monitor, Front Parking Sensors, Active Park Assist.

3. Styling Pack

You can opt for the styling pack, but only if you buy the top spec ST-Line Vignale model (from R614 400). This buys you a panoramic Roof, and Ford also throws in 4-way manual adjustment for the front passenger seat.
