Five ultra-cool accessories for your new Suzuki Jimny

The Suzuki Jimny offers a plethora of accessories that not only enhances the little off-roader's look, but adds real functional value. From mud-flaps to footwell illumination, you can go wild with these Jimny-specific extras. Here are a few cool *options that we would select.

Buying a Car

1. Front grille with Suzuki logo

The run-of-the-mill Jimnys have only the “S” logo in the centre of a black grille when they leave the factory. This chrome grille choice with the full Suzuki lettering will really set your Jimny apart from the rest — it's a small price to pay for something that makes your entire car look that much more premium.

2. Front and rear diff-lock protectors

If you like rugged off-roading, the Jimny is probably one of the most capable compact SUVs you can buy. And, if you have plans for you and your Jimny to go crawling over rocks or driving up the side of a mountain on weekends, then prevention is probably better than cure. We suggest fitting some aluminium differential guards to the very components that allow you and your Jimny to arrive at those hard-to-reach picnic destinations.

3. Red Mud Flaps

Call me superficial, but there's something so cute about these red mud-flaps that I would probably pay to have them fitted even if I had no plans to ever leave the tarmac. Besides, red goes with everything, doesn't it? (PS. — there are black Suzuki ones available for the less adventurous at heart...)

4. Rain and wind deflectors

If you've ever driven a Jimny at over 100 km per hour, you probably noticed that there's a fair bit of wind noise. Fortunately there's something you can do about it: These rain and wind deflectors also allow you to discreetly leave your windows open open when parking in the summer sun.

5. Rear-parking sensors

Prevent accidents (and keep your Jimny's backside in perfect condition) by ensuring you fit park distance control sensors.
