One of the Triber’s biggest issues is its powertrain, which is a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox while there is also an option of an automatic version of the manual, which we would avoid at all costs. The small engine produces 52kW and 96Nm of torque, which is fine for inner-city driving with one occupant on board, but became a big problem with five adult occupants on board when attempting to drive on the highway.

What is the Renault Triber like inside?
The Renault Triber offers an inoffensive interior design with good levels of specification, especially if the Prestige variant is chosen. Owners can expect harder plastics to feature, however, this will bolster durability over its lifetime. For Triber, space is the name of the game and Renault has certainly succeeded in providing ample levels even in the third row.
Style
The exterior styling is aggressive with sharp styling happening upfront and at the rear of the MPV. Down the sides are a very pronounced character line that is bolstered by the 15-inch alloy wheels as found on the Prestige variants. Customers can choose to have the exterior finished in Ice Cool White or Moonlight Silver, however, those with a taste for colour will enjoy the Electric Blue, Fiery Red and Honey Yellow options.
