Comfort is the name of the game with transporter busses and the Tourneo has this in spades. From the elevated driving position with its super comfortable front seats equipped with armrests for those long journeys, the drive is not sporty in any way but it is rather like driving your favorite couch around town. The suspension is not harsh or heavily sprung but absorbs all the undulations on the road evening out even the roughest of roads, making for a very smooth and compliant drive.

What is the Ford Tourneo Custom like inside?
Space is the main focus for the Tourneo Custom and it does have plenty. However, unlike most vans, Ford has given the seats for the rear occupants a more premium design and incorporates a lot of premium materials to finish it off. A neat function that has been added to some derivatives is the ability to completely remove seats to free up more space should you need to transport large or many items at once.
Style
Being a van, the Ford Tourneo Custom do have a box-like design, however, the model is softened around the edges and incorporates a long but aesthetically appealing character line down the side. It is especially with the short-wheel-base derivatives that the Tourneo almost has a sporty-like design as opposed to just functional. The styling interior which seems a little dated and yet inoffensive, in many aspects mimics that of a car with only a few hints such as the placement of the gear selector that gives away what it really is.
