The Toyota Land Cruiser has become synonymous with hardcore 4x4 activity, often being employed on farms, ranches, and outdoor playgrounds around the world. It is well known that the 70 series Land Cruiser is devoid of many of the modern conveniences that have percolated into modern vehicles over time.

As of the new 2024 model, the 70 series Land Cruiser does not have an ANCAP rating for double cab or wagon variants but maintains a 5-star chassis rating for the 2016 single cab model. The Land Cruiser is a real barebones machine so does it have ISOfix fiotted for car seats?

The LandCruiser 70 series is defined by its rugged off-road workhorse nature and is, therefore, not considered a family vehicle in which the need for ISOfix anchors would arise. The 70 series, comprising 76 and 79, do not have ISOfix anchors installed. This is not a deal breaker, though, as you can still fit car seats with the manual seatbelt anchors.
