The Kona is a practical crossover model, however, Hyundai decided to spice it up a bit and in 2022 introduced the Kona N locally. The performance-oriented model comes fitted with a 2.0-litre, turbocharged petrol motor producing 206 kW and 392 Nm of torque which is sent to the front wheels via an 8-speed, dual-clutch automated transmission.

Unlike its i30 N sibling, the sunroof of the Kona N takes shape as a standard sunroof instead of a panoramic. The sunroof can be opened to allow in some fresh air or remain closed while still allowing some sunlight to enter the cabin.
