The latest and current iteration of the BMW 5 Series arrived towards the end of 2020 and brought with it more style, performance and space. Excluding the M5, customers can choose between five derivatives of the sedan. The entry-level model comes in the form of the 520d in Standard guise, however, an M Sport, as well as M Automobiles guises, are available.
For this article, we will be focussing on the Standard guise options of which there are two derivatives, one powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder diesel motor capable of 140 kW and 400 Nm of torque, namely the 520d. The other comes powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder petrol engine also coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission and is capable of 185 kW and 350 Nm of torque and is called the 530i.
While most of the colours on the BMW 5 Series is very neutral, there are a few stand-out colours as well as attention-grabbing "frozen" options.
