We will always recommend that you buy with your head, rather than your heart because we know how silly the heart can be sometimes. Selecting a car that fits your needs rather than your wants will serve you longer and cause fewer headaches along the way. You'll feel like you've invested wisely in your vehicle and didn't waste your money on something that doesn't serve you in the way you hoped.

If you are a parent or are soon to become a parent, you'll need to consider changing to a vehicle that has back seats, has easy access to the back seats, has the necessary safety equipment and provisions for child seats and, naturally, enough boot space to take a pram and their baby bag.
Vehicle boot space is measured in litres, a measurement taken from combining the width, height, and depth of the boot. Similar can be done with a pram to give you an idea of much space a pram will take up. This is an estimation based on volume, and not specific dimensions and while two different prams (and boots for that matter) may have the same volume, they may have different dimensions, meaning that one may be longer or wider than the other.
Pram sizes
We've taken a sample of three prams that represent the typical sizes you will find to get their litre volume. This will help us gauge which boots are big enough and which ones will struggle.
Small pram (folded):62cm (L) x 20cm (W) x 24cm (D)
- 29.76-litres
Medium pram (folded): 82cm (L) x 60cm (W) x 30cm (D)
- 147.6-litres
Large pram (folded): 90cm (L) x 63cm (W) x 33cm (D)
- 187.11-litres
