The little Suzuki Splash arrived on the scene in 2014 to compete in the affordable minicar segment. The Splash was offered in two trim levels namely, the entry-level, GA and higher specified GL. In both guises the Suzuki Splash offer customers a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, however, only with GL variant could you specify a 4-speed automatic transmission instead of the standard 5-speed manual gearbox.
While you won't find any clever colour screen infotainment systems, the GL derivatives came with an integrated radio/ CD player compatible with USB and AUX input and MP3 playback. Just below the radio is an airconditioning system while atop the dashboard is a tachometer, separate from the minimalist instrument cluster.

1. Wheel trim
Buying a used vehicle will mean that on some surfaces you might see some ageing or even small scratches, one of those areas is most definitely the wheels. Luckily the Suzuki Splash is fitted with steel wheels and finished with wheel trim pieces. This means that you can exchange the old used ones for new wheel trim or even more modern trim without breaking the bank.
2. Muffler extension
Although the Suzuki Splash is far from being a performance vehicle, adding a muffler extension will give it a more sporty look. The part is created with polished stainless steel and easily attaches to the exhaust tip at the rear of the car.
3. Moulded mudflaps
While on the topic of sporty enhancements, why not consider replacing the rubber mudflaps with moulded plastic units. Shaped to follow the form of the body and compliment the styling, this item not only looks good but also keep stones away from your paintwork. Please note that you will have to paint the mudflaps if you want them to match the body colour.
4. Side mouldings
Side mouldings not only bolster the exterior looks of the Suzuki Splash but also protect the door and paint from small dings from other vehicle doors or even trolleys. The plastic mouldings come in black with a silver tip and the name Splash imprinted. These are very easy to fit and can be done at home.
5. Hatch trim
Suzuki also makes a trim piece for the tailgate. Similar to the muffler extension, the trim piece comes in a chrome finish for that clean look. Once again this is an easy trim piece to install yourself and will look great with the muffler extension.
6. Roof rack
On to something a little more functional, a roof rack. If you find yourself running out of luggage space or would like to transport larger items, you might want to consider a roof rack. The one available from Suzuki is made from lightweight aluminium and is lockable. Take note that the roof rack is only capable of carrying up to 35 kg.
