Buying a Car2 min read

The latest, 5th-generation Renault Clio slid onto the scene with very little fanfare. Suddenly the Clio 5 was seen on dealership floors and on the roads and no one had heard anything about them. If you're one of those that had you're ear to the ground and nabbed one, well done - you got a great little car.

But fuel efficiency, stylish designs and excellent road manners are only part of the ownership experience. Accessorising your car is a form of self-expression and helps make your car unique and special, one of a kind, customised to your specific life needs.

Ensuring that you extract the most from the ownership experience is made easier with the help of genuine Renault accessories. No fleamarket nonsense tacked on and flapping in the breeze, but rather approved accessories that enhance the experience and ensure that your warranty remains in place.

We've selected 5 of the top accessories from the Renault brochure to give you some inspiration. Contact your nearest Renault dealership to find out more.

1. Underbody courtesy lighting

This is a striking addition to your Renault Clio that not only looks fantastic but serves a purpose too. You will never struggle to find your parked car again because by simply approaching the car or pushing a button on the remote will have your Clio light up and guide the way.

2. Armrest

Only the Intens variant of the Renault Clio 5 is equipped with an armrest but that doesn't mean that you cannot enjoy the same luxury. This Renault genuine arm rest is guaranteed to fit and not only does it make driving long distances more comfortable, it provides additional storage space.

3. Wireless charging

Once again, this feature is only available as standard on the Intens model but if you have chosen a Life or Zen model you can also benefit from wireless charging in the cabin. Simply place your phone on the charging pad and let the car do the rest. Helping ensure that you always have enough battery life.

4. Door sills

Door sills are more than just a statement piece, they help protect your vehicle's paint finish. Unknowingly, we drag our shoes across the sill when entering or climbing out and these Clio-branded sill plates will protect the paint underneath.

5. Swan neck tow bar

The Clio may not be a race-winning powerhouse but that doesn't mean that you won't be able to tow a trailer with it. If you fit this swan neck tow bar, you'll be able to tow small trailers wherever you need and then afterwards remove the neck to maintain the sleek lines of your Clio.
