The Polo Vivo has been a firm favourite in the budget hatchback segment and has slowly received little updates to keep the timeless design going while keeping up with modern motoring demands. The budget hatchback segment is competitive, but the public loves the Polo Vivo, making it the best-selling passenger car in South Africa. Here are three things you'll like with the latest Polo Vivo updates.

The image shows the infotainment system of a Polo Vivo car, featuring a touchscreen display. The screen displays various icons for different functions, including Vehicle, USB Video, Phone, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth Music, Radio, USB Music, and Android Auto. Below the screen, there are three rotary dials for controlling the air conditioning and ventilation system. The dashboard is made of textured black material, and the overall design is modern and sleek

1. All-new infotainment system

The new 9.0-inch Mirgor infotainment system is available across the Polo Vivo range. Depending on the Vivo variant you choose, this system can be equipped with 4-6 speakers. The system comes with App Connect and is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It can also access certain vehicle settings, bringing the Polo Vivo in line with its modern counterparts.

The car is viewed from the rear three-quarter angle, showcasing its taillights, rear bumper, and side profile. The building's lights illuminate the scene, highlighting the car's sleek design. The license plate reads "New Polo Vivo."

2. New Styling elements in and out

Subtle but effective, there are many new styling elements with the Polo Vivo. Outside, the Vivo front end features a redesigned front bumper with a blade-like shape extending out the sides of the bumper trim. New wheels are available for the Life and Style models in 15 and 16-inches. There are new headlights for the Life variant, and all headlights feature Daytime Running Lights. Some new badging is found across the range, and below the 2D VW badge in the rear, you'll see 'Vivo' lettering. Apart from the new infotainment system, the seats feature new material designs inside, and are model-specific.

3. Black Style Package

The current Vivo can be had with the Black Style Package, which is available on the Life variants. The package includes a black-painted roof, mirror caps, and 15-inch Tosa wheels. This is all to make the Vivo stand out more on the road and give it a sporty look.
