Volkswagen expands Tiguan line-up

We have the details; Volkswagen has added two new engine options to the Tiguan line-up.

Volkswagen has enhanced its Tiguan model line-up by introducing two new engines: the 2.0 TDI, which produces 110kW, and the 2.0 TSI, which delivers 140kW. Both engines come paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission. Since its launch in the local market in August 2024, the Tiguan has achieved sales totalling 1 190 units, and the brand hopes the addition of these two new engines will bolster sales further.

The 2.0 TDI 4Motion with 110kW/340Nm; it goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 207 km/h. The 2.0 TSI 4Motion with 140kW/350Nm will get from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds with a top speed of 225 km/h.
