The model, which has sold over 1.5 million units worldwide since its introduction in 2017, features styling updates, an upgraded cabin, and a new, faster user experience.

A word from Volvo

Grant Locke, Managing Director of VCSA, commented: "The new XC60 delivers clear, practical improvements in design, technology, and comfort, building on what has already made this model a global success... These updates refine that proven recipe, ensuring drivers enjoy enhanced performance, smarter technology, and a safer, more comfortable driving experience."

Two engine options

The XC60 is offered with a choice of two powertrains, both featuring all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission:

  • B5 Mild-Hybrid: The Core and Plus trims use a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. It delivers 183kW and 350Nm, achieving a claimed 0–100 km/h time of 6.9 seconds with a fuel consumption figure of 7.6 L/100 km.

  • T8 Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV): The Plus and Ultra trims feature the powerful ‘Twin Engine’ setup. This T8 PHEV boasts a combined 340kW and 709Nm, rocketing from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. Notably, the 19kWh battery enables an electric-only range of up to 81 km and a claimed combined fuel consumption of 1.8 L/100 km.

The most significant update is the cabin's new-generation infotainment system:

  • New Infotainment: The larger 11.2-inch free-standing touchscreen features 21% higher pixel density. It is powered by the Snapdragon Cockpit Platform from Qualcomm Technologies and comes fully integrated with Google services (Google Maps, Google Assistant, etc.) and over-the-air (OTA) update capabilities.

  • interior: The interior now offers redesigned cup holders and an improved wireless phone charger. Premium touches include an Orrefors crystal gear selector on Plus and Ultra trims, and a choice of materials, including Ventilated Nappa leather.
