Top 5 things you need to know about the Renault Duster TechRoad

1. Design elements

The Renault Duster TechRoad has robust styling and is visually more muscular because of its more-aggressive design lines and wider rear. It rolls on new 17-inch Diamond Cut wheels, features new silver roof rails, as well as new front and rear skid plates that support its adventurer credentials. And to complete its powerful stance is a chrome trim on the grille, a raised waistline and the powerful C-shaped light signature.

To make the TechRoad standout, even more, is distinctive bespoke badging and red strips on the side doors. The TechRoad variant is also available in a new colour called Red Fusion, which according to Renault, is bound to be a popular choice.

 

2. Off-road capability

With greater off-road capabilities, the new Renault Duster TechRoad has a class-leading ground clearance of 210mm. It also has noteworthy approach and departure angles of 30° high approach and 34° departure angles respectively, deeming it suited for all-terrain driving.

 

 

3. Interior and Space 

The cabin of the Duster TechRoad has been completely re-designed to be made more spacious and passenger-friendly. The upholstery features a high-quality finish, with red detailing on the seats and striking red interior finishes. Aside from the material and finish, the emphasis was also placed on fit and the seats were redesigned to be more enveloping to optimize travelling comfort.

Numerous clever stowage spaces are easily accessible all around the cabin. There's also improved accessibility of controls, and amongst others, an enhanced Multimedia experience.

Adding to practicality, the new Duster offers a modular interior layout that can easily adapt to your needs. The rear bench seat has a 1/3 – 2/3 split-fold function, and the boot offers a best-in-class loading capacity of up to 478 litres.

 

 

4. Equipment

The new Duster now features smartphone mirror compatibility through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which allows the functionality of your phone’s system on your car’s computer interface. Occupants can now control music, navigate, and communicate by way of voice commands and the car’s manual controls.

The new Duster is further equipped with its own onboard GPS Navigation as well as Automatic Climate Control, Speed Limiter and Cruise Control functions.

Standard across Renault’s entire product range, each Duster comes with a 5-year/150 000km mechanical warranty and a 6-year anti-corrosion warranty. Services take place at 15 000km intervals, and a standard 3-year/45000km service plan applies.
