The X-Trail is fitted with several Nissan Intelligent Mobility features (NIM) designed to keep all occupants safe. These include:

 

  • Blind Spot Intervention Alerts the driver to the presence of vehicles in blind spots diagonally behind the car.

  • Lane Intervention Alerts the driver when it detects that the X-Trail is straying from its lane.

  • Cross Traffic Alert When backing out of a parking space, this feature can detect and warn the driver of vehicles that are approaching behind the X-Trail.

  • Emergency Braking Uses radar technology to keep an eye on your speed and proximity to the vehicle in front of you, and will alert the driver before engaging the brakes.

  • Forward Collision Warning Helps alert drivers of an impending collision with a slower-moving or stationary car.

  • Auto Headlights Automatically changes between high and low beams when it detects oncoming vehicles at night.

  • Around View Monitor With moving object detection – a support technology that assists drivers to park more easily by providing a better understanding of the vehicle’s surroundings.

The new X-Trail comes with Nissan’s class-leading 6-year/150,000km Warranty, a 3-year/90,000km Service Plan and 24-hour Roadside Assist. Service intervals are at 15,000km.

 

3. Flexible seating

The X-Trail features a flexible seating system with a second row that is as plush as can be. The second-row seats allow for a 60/40 split which slides forward for easy access and adjusts to provide more cargo space as well as more legroom. These seats also recline. The third row provides additional versatility and folds down completely to make a flat cargo floor.
