In November 2018, Mitsubishi Motors South Africa launched the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Shogun Limited Edition model. It's based on the Pajero Sport 4x4 8-speed A/T and offers all the equipment needed for an active lifestyle.

Price
The Pajero Sport Shogun retails at R639,995 and includes the R60,000 of additional equipment. The Pajero Sport Shogun is covered by Mitsubishi Motors' 3-year/100 000 km manufacturer’s warranty and a 5-year/90 000 km service plan with 10 000 km service intervals.
2. 2019 AutoTrader SA Car of the Year Finalist
The SAGMJ (South African Guild of Motoring Journalists) Car Of The Year competition has been running since 1986, and Mitsubishi was very proud to announce the Pajero Sport featured on the shortlist. “The inclusion of this model as one of the 12 finalists proves the Pajero Sport remains a winning model,” says Nic Campbell, General Manager at Mitsubishi Motors South Africa

3. Pajero Sport Upgrade
In September 2018, Mitsubishi updated its Pajero Sport model. Here are the highlights of the update:
- Safety upgrades
- Additional airbags – Pajero Sport now boasts 7 airbags
- ISOFIX added – child seat anchor points for babies and toddlers
- Increased towing mass for both 4x4 and 4x2 derivatives
- Pricing unchanged in spite of improvements
- 120 Watt Power Plug added for charging laptops and other electronic devices
