Top 3 Ford Figo articles on AutoTrader

Ford’s Figo is its entry-level range in the South African market, and a very honest little car it is too. Here we showcase our top 3 reviews on AutoTrader over the past few years.

Automotive News

Ford’s Figo received a major facelift just over a year ago, with the little entry-level hatchback and sedan models gaining a new front end featuring a honeycomb grille design, a new bumper and front fog lamps. Also added were new 14-inch alloy wheels for the Trend models and updated wheel caps for the base Ambiente versions.

As before, the Figo is offered in hatchback and sedan versions, all using the 1,5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. This non-turbo unit features twin camshafts, four valves-per-cylinder and variable valve timing, and produces 88 kW and 150 Nm of torque. Transmissions are a six-speed automatic or a five-speed manual.

The Figo currently sells at the rate of between 400 and 500 units each month. Prices range between R187 500 for the Hatch 1.5 Ambiente model to R221 300 for the Hatch 1.5 Titanium.

As a tribute to the honest little Ford, we raided our archives and came up with our Top 3 reviews of the Figo:
