The hotter, faster, and more menacing Roush Mustang is headed for SA
Petrolheads, take note: You can now own a future classic, compliments of Performance Centre's bespoke Roush treatment. The new 2021 Roush Mustang will not only increase the Mustang's power, but it will look the part too with a range of cosmetic and ride-enhancing upgrades and accessories.
For the commemoration of the 25th of anniversary of Roush Performance Products, the Roush Mustang will be available to discerning South African Mustang buyers.

Who and what is Roush?
Roush is named after Mr Jack Roush, who began his motoring career as en engine development engineer for Ford Motor Company in 1964. Jack Roush's passion for motorsport, particularly drag and oval racing, inspired him to design and sell a variety of components to a growing number of racing enthusiasts. This is the inspiration for the 2021 Roush Mustang: to deliver an authentic Roush experience to racing aficionados around the world.
Under the Roush Mustang's skin
Under the sexy sheetmetal of each Roush Stage 3 is a Mustang GT with a Generation 3 Coyote V8 engine. Thanks to the Roush TVS2650 supercharger, the engine’s performance is markedly increased to a blistering 560kW and a beastly 910Nm, which has to be heard in order to be believed!
To keep the under-body temperatures stable, two Roush-specific auxiliary coolers have been mounted below the Mustang: a differential cooler and an automatic transmission cooler.
The 2021 Stage 3 Rouge Mustang's performance figures can be increased even more to 578kW, making it more powerful than the Jack Roush Edition of 2020. Upgrades for this new version include a new air filter, an upgraded supercharger belt, the additional tuning of the direct injection, and optimised calibration of the engine’s ECU to support this Mustang's higher demand for power and speed.
To give the new Roush Mustang a wider dynamic range, super high-performance Continental ExtremeContact Sport Tyres are fitted on the front and rear, riding on 20x9.5-inch Jet Black or Agate Gray forged wheels, while Roush-calibrated *MagneRide adaptive suspension reduces lean when cornering and braking.
Jaw-dropping looks come standard
The R9 aero kit is designed to attract longing looks from bystanders, and includes "heat-extracting hood vents, fender vents, high flow upper and lower grilles, functional aero corner pockets, rear aerofoils and a blacked-out rear deck-lid panel that sits above the quad black-tip performance exhaust. Aerodynamic functionality has been incorporated with the Roush chin spoiler which separates airflow above and beneath the Mustang, working to reduce overall aero drag", says the American automaker.
A Roush-worthy interior
Being a collector's item, your Roush Mustang will carry a certificate of authenticity with a serial plaque on the dashboard, but other cabin highlights include meticulously crafted sports-leather seats featuring the Roush logo, custom gauge cluster overlays, illuminated door sills and a Roush toolkit. Roush-embossed floor mats and Roush key fobs also form part of the package.
Introducing the Podium Package
At the top of the exclusivity pecking order, sits the Podium Package: An option for those who want to stand out from the crowd even more. This package includes sporty Brembo brakes with new pads and rotors, and Roush billet pedals. It also adds a carbon fibre rear with with active aerodynamics.
