New Renault Triber Panel Van enters the market

Just before the Covid lockdown started over two years ago Renault unveiled the Triber MPV, a frugal and well-equipped people mover to the South African market. It has had marked success with budget-focused buyers since then and has proven to be a great purchase for many shopping in that segment.

Renault South Africa has now opted to expand the range and now offers a panel van for those seeking the styling and fitment of the Triber in a vehicle that can now be used for small business.

Euro design

Boasting SUV styling, an exciting colour pallette and an attractive cabin space, the Triber Express is sure to find a home with consumers seeking a versatile entry-level vehicle that can service their small businesses. The interior is finished in a two-tone material with chrome embellishments and drivers will feel comfortable knowing that they have two airbags and a host of safety systems, such as pyrotechnic pre-tensioning seatbelt for the driver, ABS and EBD keeping them and their loads safe.

Load Space

The Triber Express has a large load space, coming in at 1500l and a weight capacity of 545kg. The rear compartment is also protected by a steel mesh to keep loads in place. Further storage from the centre console, door pockets and glove box amount to a further 31 liters of space.

Power to move

The Triber Express is moved along by a 1.0l 3 cylinder petrol engine that produces 52kW and 96Nm. Power goes to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and the Triber will sip fuel at a very economical 5.5l/100km.
