New Blazing Carnelian and Terrane Khaki exterior colours

When Lexus creates a new paint colour for their cars, it's a highly meticulous and timeous process which can take up to two years. This new brilliant, concentrated colour is unlike anything that has ever been seen on a Lexus. By applying an additional mica base and a number of high saturation coats, this concentrated colour comes into full effect. I think you'll agree that Blazing Carnelian works well with the LC500's sleek coupé shape.

Terrane Khaki, first seen on the Lexus UX, is now available for the LC500 as well. Other existing colours include Sonic Silver and Sonic Titanium, and Flare Yellow, which was created especially for the LC500.

 

 

But what's a new paint job without a new matching interior colour?

The cabin's New-York-inspired Manhattan Orange design theme adds a healthy dollop of orange to the headliner, steering wheel and seat edges, should you desire to be surrounded by more sunset hues. The 2020 LC 500 also receives the new 17MM high resolution audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Miracast.

 

 

Improved handling and responsiveness

In order for better driving characteristics and increased control on the tarmac, Lexus has also revised the LC's suspension system for a smoother and more linear response. Active Cornering assist was added for more confident handling on the twisty bits as well. Other additions include Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) for more stability at higher speeds, while the LC's Electric Power Steering system has also been improved for a sportier, more nimble feeling. The LC retains its monstrous 5.0-litre V8 engine for that 0-100 km/h sprint in a brisk 4.7 seconds.
