The Lexus ES is a stately sedan for discerning executives who like to do things differently, and who have an affinity for the finer things in life.
The ES sedan, now in its seventh generation, competes with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series and Volvo S90. It is the most popular model in Lexus's arsenal, globally.

Available colours
The beautifully built Lexus ES range has a surprisingly large exterior colour palette to choose from. Three new exterior colours are available, namely Sonic Chrome, Sonic Iridium, and Graphite Black. (Interior trims have been added too - EX models have Hazel or Rich Cream trim available, while the hybrid SE grade gets a Mauve trim insert option.)

White is SA's most popular car colour, and good resale value is guaranteed. This White Quartz shade is iridescent and not just a boring, solid colour.
Sonic Titanium looks suave and sophisticated, highlighting the ES's shapely curves.
Sonic Chrome looks menacing, mysterious and marvellous, all at the same time!
Sonic Iridium reminds me of stormy skies and lightning behind the clouds. An excellent choice that future buyers will also like.
Morello Red is not for the wallflowers among us. I see a powerful woman with bright red Chanel lipstick and a Burberry trench coat driving the ES in this colour.
Ice Ecru reminds me of a sunset on a 5-star boutique game farm. An inoffensive, stylish colour that won't put off potential buyers.
Olive Green may look a little bright on this image, but in reality, it isn't as flamboyant at all and works exceptionally well with the EX's design. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, though. (Check out the Olive Green models in the gallery for a more accurate representation.)
Opulent Blue is a safe bet. It's not too bright but not boring either.
Black turns heads and adds glamour, but unless you have shaded parking at all times, I wouldn't recommend it.
Graphite Black is also an iridescent colour, but it will still attract heat in summer. It looks stunning, though!
