The Hyundai Santa Fe is the brand's flagship SUV and offers customers high levels of specification as well as premium interior and exterior styling. During 2018, Hyundai introduced the fourth and latest generation of its Santa Fe model which is not only larger but features the Korean automaker's latest design language.

The new Santa Fe offers customers the latest in technology which includes LED daylight running lamps and LED headlamps, the latter exclusively available on the Executive and Elite versions. For this article, however, we will be focussing on the model it replaces which was sold locally between 2013 and 2015.
What do you need?
In order to complete this simple task, you will need the following items:
- Replacement bulbs
- About 5 minutes of your time
Replacement steps
Step 1. Switch off your vehicle and locate the bonnet release lever. Pull the lever and proceed to the front of the vehicle.
Step 2. Locate the secondary bonnet release latch and open the bonnet fully. Be sure to secure the support strut if your model features one.
Step 3. Visually locate the rear of the headlamp cluster. There will be a round cap at the back which should open when turned anti-clockwise.
Step 4. Once the cap is opened, you will be able to access the lightbulb, gently press and rotate the back of the lamp to take it out of the headlamp cluster.
Step 5. Find the release pin at the base of the lightbulb and while pressing down, separate the electrical plug from the lightbulb.
Step 6. Attach the electrical wiring to the new lightbulb taking care not to touch the class of the bulb. The natural oil found on our hands can cause discolouration of the glass or even cause the glass to crack when the bulb is in use.
Step 7. Carefully guide the lightbulb through the aperture in the headlamp cluster and try to avoid tapping the glass against any surfaces. Make sure the bulb is pushed in all the way before turning it to clip it back into place.
Step 8. Secure the plastic back cover by turning it clockwise.
Step 9. Turn on the ignition and switch on your headlamps and inspect to see if the new lightbulb is functioning correctly.
