How to replace a lightbulb on a Suzuki Kizashi

We show you how to replace the headlight bulbs on the rare Suzuki Kizashi sedan

The Suzuki Kizashi is the very rare sibling of the Suzuki Ciaz sedan. There are really not that many Kizashis' on our roads and if you find yourself to be a lucky owner of one, you may find that you are needing to replace headlight bulbs. This does not necessitate a visit to your local mechanic as if you have a few tools and you follow our step by step guide, you can get this done right at home!

You will feel like a headlight ninja!

 

You will need:

  • Replacement bulbs for your year and model
  • 10mm socket and driver
  • Philips screwdriver
  • Push rivet removal tool

 

 

Let's get it done!

 

1. Open the bonnet

 

2. Use the rivet removal tool to remove the plastic cover on either side of the engine bay above the headlights

 

3. Use the 10mm socket to remove the bolts of the radiator cover.

 

4. Use the screwdriver to remove the screws holding the bumper in place.

 

5. Gently pull to release the bumper.

 

6. Use the 10mm socket to remove the 5 bolts holding the headlight assembly in place.

 

7. Gently remove the headlight assembly.

 

8. Disconnect the cabling.

 

9. Remove the small cover of the headlight bulb.

 

10. Remove the plug from the back of the bulb.

 

11. Undo the retaining clip holding the bulb in place.

 

12. Replace bulb.

 

13. Re-assemble everything in reverse and test system.
