5 extras you should fit on a new Ferrari SF90 Stradale

We list the top five extras you should fit on a new Ferrari SF90 Stradale to bolster the styling and make the model stand out from the crowd even more.

Automotive News

Introduced to the world in 2020, the SF90 Stradale is the first series-production plug-in hybrid model to be offered by Ferrari. The model utilises an all-wheel-drive configuration to ensure that all the power from the 4.0-litre, turbocharged, V8 petrol engine and three electric motors is effectively translated into acceleration and speed and not lost in wheelspin.

The total 735 kW (574 engine + 162 electric) and 800 Nm of torque are sent to the wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This results in a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h. But all the technology is not just for performance but efficiency as well, the high-performance Li-ion battery will allow for 25 km of pure electric driving and even in combination with the petrol motor, should return a combined fuel consumption figure of 6.1 L / 100 km.

Now that you know a bit more of what is happening under curvaceous body, let us take a look at five extras you could fit on the exterior and interior of a Ferrari SF90 Stradale to improve on the already stylish trim.

1. Wheels

As standard, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale comes with 20-inch light-alloy wheels, however, the Italian marque has designed a few more options for a more dynamic look. Not only are customers able to choose from a range of designs but also from a variety of finishes to go along with the exterior colour or trim fitted.

2. Brake callipers

While the brakes on an SF90 Stradale perform a very important task of slowing down the vehicle before the next corner. Ferrari offers various colours for the callipers to further improve on the exterior styling of the mid-engined hybrid sportscar. Customers can choose between Nero Lucido (black), Giallo Modena (yellow), Alluminio (grey/silver), Rosso Corsa (bright red) and Rosso Scuderia (darker red), Grigio Scuro (grey), Blu (blue) and Oro (gold).

Customers that are going to take the SF90 Stradale to the track often, might prefer the Anodised black brake callipers. The treatment on these units offers higher resistance even when the braking system is subjected to severe use.

3. Tailpipes

Choosing a different exhaust tip could greatly change the appearance of your vehicle. While the titanium tips offer a similar design to that of the standard items, these units are 50% lighter and will retain their appearance for longer because of their surface finish. Customers can also have the same titanium tailpipes but with a ceramic coating for a darker look and even more protection from the heat and environment.

4. Exterior carbon fibre trim

For those clients that are looking for both the lightest and most sporty trim on their SF90 Stradale, Ferrari has developed a variety of trim pieces in carbon fibre. These include a rear diffuser, bonnet, air intake splitters, side skirtings and front aerodynamic appendages. Not only does the exposed carbon fibre texture add to the racing theme of the vehicle, but the items will also reduce the overall weight of the vehicle which will result in a more dynamic drive.

5. Interior carbon fibre trim

Clients can mirror the sporty look created by the carbon fibre trim on the exterior, on the interior with the variety of pieces available from the Italian automaker. Like with the exterior options, the carbon fibre interior trims not only bolster the sporty styling but also reduces weight and is more durable. Items available for the interior is dashboard accents, F1 shift paddles, rear wall, instrument binnacle, steering wheel, centre console and door trims.
